Location

Pilates near Cancún's Hotel Zone and Puerto Cancún

We are not inside the Hotel Zone. The studio is in Plaza Muray, on Av. Nichupté, a 15 to 25 minute drive depending on traffic. Here is everything you need to decide whether that works for you.

Exactly where we are

Av. Nichupté, SM 51, Mz 72, L 05, Local 34, Plaza Muray
Supermanzana 51
77533 Cancún, Quintana Roo

That is Av. Nichupté, in Supermanzana 51, inside Plaza Muray. Coming from the Hotel Zone, the usual route is out through Bonampak or past Malecón Américas and onto Nichupté; from Puerto Cancún it is close to a straight shot. Plan on 15 to 25 minutes from downtown or from the Hotel Zone, depending on traffic and time of day. Early morning lands at the short end; mid-afternoon, leave yourself the full window.

If you are taking a taxi or a rideshare, the landmark every driver knows is Plaza Muray, Av. Nichupté. The studio is Local 34.

Parking

There is parking on site. Plaza Muray has its own lot and the studio sits inside it, so you are not circling Nichupté looking for a space or leaving the car two streets away. For anyone driving in from Puerto Cancún or the Hotel Zone, that is half the reason it stays easy: you arrive, you park, you walk in.

Where people come from

Puerto Cancún · Malecón Américas · Zona Hotelera · Av. Bonampak · Residencial Cumbres · SM 51 and surrounding neighborhoods.

It makes for a mixed room: people who live in Puerto Cancún or off Bonampak and train during the week, people who work near Malecón Américas and take the 7 a.m. class, and people staying in the Hotel Zone for a few days who would rather not drop their routine.

The map

Why people leave the Hotel Zone for a pilates class

Worth saying plainly: the Hotel Zone essentially has no independent boutique studios. What exists there are private classes inside hotels, with the fixed schedules and limited equipment that implies. So anyone staying on the strip who wants a real reformer, tower or Wunda chair class ends up driving into the city. The 15 to 25 minutes is what it costs to train in a studio with the full apparatus.

We go into it further in how to choose a pilates studio in Cancún.

What you'll find when you get here

Ten disciplines under one roof, and a single package that opens all of them. Classes run 45 to 60 minutes, groups stay small, and there are eight reformers per class.

Reformer Pilates

50 min

Strength, control and mobility on the reformer, with spring-graded resistance.

Tower

50 min

Vertical work with springs and push-through bar, excellent for spine and shoulder mobility.

Wunda Chair

50 min

Classical Pilates apparatus demanding stability and control in short ranges.

Naü Cycle

45 min

Bike cardio with music and defined intensity blocks.

Barre

50 min

Short ballet-inspired repetitions building muscular endurance and posture.

HIIT Strength

45 min

High-intensity intervals combined with functional strength work.

Functional LAB

50 min

Functional training with movement patterns applied to daily life.

Naü Flow

50 min

Continuous sequences linking breath and movement on reformer and mat.

Mat Pilates

50 min

Joseph Pilates' original repertoire on the mat, no apparatus.

Yoga & Yoga Flow

60 min

Mobility, strength and breath practice. Flow for more dynamic sessions.

Small groups, not a packed floor

Eight reformers per class. The coach gets to everyone, corrects how your pelvis sits and changes the springs to match you, which is where the method is actually learned. Every spot is reserved in advance, so nobody turns up hoping to squeeze in.

You can see who teaches what on the coaches page, and the full lineup under classes.

Coaches cue in English

Instructions come in both English and Spanish, so you are never guessing at what the class is doing. If it is your first time on a reformer, here is exactly how a first class goes.

Common questions

Is there parking?

Yes, parking on site. Plaza Muray has its own lot and the studio is inside it, so you never have to hunt for a space on Av. Nichupté or pay separately.

How long does it take from the Hotel Zone?

Fifteen to twenty-five minutes, depending on traffic. We are not inside the Hotel Zone — we are in the city, on Av. Nichupté. Early-morning classes tend to land at the short end of that range; mid-afternoon, give yourself the full twenty-five.

Do I need to book ahead?

Yes. Every spot is reserved through the live calendar because groups are small and space is limited. You can buy your package online and book from the same calendar without messaging us.

Are classes taught in English?

Coaches cue in English and Spanish. In practice the class runs in both, so ask your question in whichever language is easier for you.

Can I come for just one day?

Yes. A single class is $199 MXN and you do not need an account or a membership to buy it. If you are in town longer, the 5-day unlimited pass ($599 MXN) works out cheaper from your third class on.

Are there pilates studios inside the Hotel Zone?

Independent boutique studios, essentially none. What you find there are private classes inside hotels. That is why people staying in the Hotel Zone head into the city for a studio with reformers, a tower and a Wunda chair.
